You may have ended up on this page because you searched online for a discount code for our courses. Maybe it’s Black Friday coming up or some other occasion where you expect to get things for cheaper.
We hate to disappoint you, but we don’t do discounts at BoatHowTo. This may not be the smartest move from a business perspective, but we value integrity over profit.
Here are the reasons for our no-discount policy:
- We are convinced that the value of our courses exceeds the price we charge for them. Occasionally we even get messages from students who think the course was too cheap and want to pay more after they took the course.
- We don’t want anyone to hold back on signing up because there might be a discount coming up. If you are considering taking our courses, then now is the right time to do it. Just the same as when it comes to reefing your sails!
- We want to be fair to our existing students who signed up for the regular price. No one likes to find out they could have gotten the course for less if they had waited.
On the plus side, this means that whenever you sign up to one of our courses, you can rest assured that you will get it for the cheapest price it will ever be. Our course prices will only ever go up as we add more content. So, there is no reason to wait!
Side note: While we don’t give discounts to individuals, we do have special rates for schools, sailing clubs and companies. Feel free to reach out to us if you are interested in this and have at least 10 students in your group/school/company.
